Market Maker form is a way to provide liquidity to the market.
It consists of two ladder forms, one for buying, the other for selling.
¶ Settings
Ladders settings are the same than in ladder forms.
- Add new ladder when all orders are filled
Adds another ladder below or above initial one if price gets out of the range. - Scale each new ladder size by
Increases the contracts quantity of added ladders. - Pause add new ladder when position is above
Stops adding ladders when position size gets above set parameter - Restart if no position
Stops and Starts MM again if no position every n minutes, applicable if only one side is selected - Disable form inputs when running
Disables inputs when MM is running, switch to off if you want to change settings without stopping it.
¶ Functioning
- Places ladder on one or both selected sides
- .When orders starts to pick up on one side, it cancels the other side (if any) and places TPs
- If all orders are filled and “Add new ladder” is checked, then a new ladder is added on top of the initial, if position size is inferior to the limit set in “pause add new ladder” at the time the last order fill
- When position is closed (by TP, SL, or other means), the remaining orders are cancelled
